Arguably the greatest mind that has ever lived is the Greek philosopher Socrates (d. 300BC) whose ideas provided the bedrock for western civilisation. One of my favourite Socrates quotes from seminary philosophy courses is his definition of the GOOD – that which helps you to reach your last end.
