3rd January – Holy Name of Jesus

When I was at home for Christmas I visited some cousins who are big into Kerry football. In the photo from L > R are second cousins once removed: Sean, Dara and Cathal (all O’Sheas!).  Sean and Dara have both won 2 All Ireland minor medals with Kerry.

Today’s commemoration of the Holy Name of Jesus reminds us that we should always have great respect for the name of Jesus, regardless of how often it is taken in vain around us.

The following is a reflection from the Advent Prayer Companion WALK WITH ME.
